Considered one of the most prominent cities on the Canaanite-Phoenician coast, the ancient city of Amrit is located 7 km to the south of Tartous. The Mina Amrit Resort project will spread over 350,000 square-meters inside the archaeological site and along an 800-meter-long waterfront overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The resort will offer a 4-star hotel (180 keys) containing a spa, restaurants and banqueting facilities, 64 exclusive villas, residential apartments, retail outlets, food and beverage outlets and a jogging track along with landscaped areas and parks. Mina Amrit project is expected to be completed by end of 2017.
